(Jane and I continue to work like mad, typing the final copy for) Oversoul Seven [number two and for Volume 2 of]

"Unknown" Reality [. I'm into Section 5 now; this weekend Sue Watkins is to deliver all, or nearly all, of the typed appendix material. Jane had but a few more chapters to go for] Seven [.]

(Lately Jane has been looking over) Fabric of The Universe [, a book by Denis Postle. It was lent to us by Carlos Smith. Seth discusses some material that is an outgrowth of the book.)

Now: I have been sending you psychic telegrams of energy ---both of you --- for your present endeavors.

This session will be brief. There are a few points I want to make, and that is all. Each individual is a portion of the universe, of course, apropos of the book on the [Fabric of the Universe] , but the universe is everywhere composed of awareized energy---energy "stamped" with its own unique psychic or psychological "individuality."

The individuality may be of a completely different nature than that with which you are acquainted. It is true that you are each versions of the universe, or even that every person alive is somehow a version of each other person, and it is true that a great unity underlies the basis of life, as you know it, that all things are interrelated.

Each conceivable particle or wave "at any given time" possesses its own unique position in the universe, however, and its own privileged viewpoint. In the most basic terms, there are different kinds of realities, but one is not more real or less real than the others.

(9:26.) Give us a moment.... Your world of physical objects is quite important, in that because it allows you to deal with differentiations, to pinpoint energy where you want it while giving you an observable physical effect, so that this training can carry over in other realities in which the same kind of physical feedback is not available, is subsidiary, or is otherwise not as much a part of the camouflage structure.

Using "real objects" now, you learn to manipulate energy with the models before you, so to speak, gaining confidence so that "later" you can trust yourselves in the use of energy without needing the physical appearance of, say, an object before you. Largely speaking, yet in the terms of this discussion, Christianity and ancient Roman religions dealt mainly with the individual, and particularly Christianity overlooked the large unity of being.

The Eastern religions exaggerated the importance of unity, almost losing the concept of individuality in the process. As popularly understood, Eastern religions can lead to spiritual exhaustion, as the individual tries to level himself out, again, so to speak --- and the popular understanding of a religion is far more important than the priests or the gurus understand it, for people directed their lives by following their own versions. Period.

The West has forced the individual to stand besieged and alone, undermined by evolution, in which the individual's only meaning lay in the survival of his species. Individualism was further undermined by the roblems involved with capitalism. The poor man must struggle to get ahead, even if that means doing so at the expense of his neighbors, while saving his soul at the same time ---a tricky, difficult venture indeed.

So some Americans have become tired of this badge of individuality, and they are ready to throw it over, either to fundamental Christianity, which is again rising, or to a number of various Eastern religions. Life is everywhere both individual and particular, and at the same time united with all being. All That Is "pulsates" with a truly infinite yearning to particularize all of its attributes, to know itself through individualizing all of its dreams, its slightest thought, its most monumental discovery. All That Is composes the fabric of the universe---which is everywhere unified, since nothing exists outside of it, and every wave or particle, or field or whatever within it, consists of a divine psychological fabric that is populated by individuation, sensation, meaning, intent, in which the most innocuous shadow of an electron rises up joyfully and shouts "I am I, and not you."

This still is to say that the divine psychological fabric forms all individuality, naturally, spontaneously, and that you cannot have one without the other.

(9:46.) Give us a moment.... A note to Ruburt: to impress that universe on a conscious level, you stress your individuality, while at the same time trying to realize that your uniqueness rises each moment from that divine psychological fabric. When you are most yourself, you have the clearest channels to the fountainhead of your being, for you are acting according to the nature, the unique nature, of yourself---and also stressing the great infinity of being from which your own uniqueness emerges. You hold in your mind the thought of your individuality, and of its deep source, so that both thoughts are beautifully poised, bringing about an interaction between the two, that results in a kind of energy, an attraction, an electromagnetic recognition, that refreshes the entire being.

Writing poetry for Ruburt is excellent in that regard.

Where do your thoughts come from--- your thoughts, that is? Confine the question to your own individuality. Asking yourself that kind of question can also help put you in touch with the source of your being --- again, because you start with your individuality, but also acknowledge its deeper origin.

(Do you want to say something about my dream, in which I get shot?)

It was, as I believe Ruburt has mentioned, a result of dee contemplation on your part about the bookstore murder, but in a larger context, involving probabilities, murderers, victims, and the beliefs involved.

The men were all united [---] that is, they agreed to the circumstances. No one was trying to run away, and [in a way]

the murderer was performing a service. Any violence or hatred serves a urpose beyond itself, so that man in a way often performs services of which he is not consciously aware.

I am not saying that man is being manipulated, but that in a larger framework, even his seemingly evil acts have constructive meaning. A man who kills with hatred will have his hatred to contend with, but he is not able to kill anyone who has not decided to die---and to die in a articular manner; that is, someone who wants his death blamed on another, who would not commit suicide, who would not choose a long illness---someone who is ready to die but does not want to deal with the circumstances, and wants indeed to be surprised by death.

Now: [in those terms, and in the terms of this discussion] , specifically, all assassins are paid assassins hired by the victims.

Again, in the terms of this discussion, many murderers are overwhelmed by a sense of guilt, and the murderous act pinpoints the reason for the guilt---so the victim pays the murderer by giving a clear-cut, unassailable reason for a monstrous guilt that was before formless, and even more frightening, since it seemed to have no particular base, but an overwhelming vitality.

Now all of those issues, in one way or another appeared in your dream, where for the sake of understanding you became the victim. You then discovered that you were still "alive"---as of course the murdered victim does.

Many such people feel before death that the body is a shell from which death will free them---and here you have a verbal symbol: the shell of the body, with a gun shell, and the soul being propelled out of the body, though that was not part of the dream. But if there is order to being, then there is order---and even the most chaotic-seeming episodes must and do have a larger meaning, and a constructive purpose.
